Icon4 4x4 won't work

Hey guys, it's been a while since I've posted, but I've been running into some problems with my 4wd. The lights come on when I turn the truck on, but that's where it ends. My solenoid used to click twice real fast and not engage, but not it doesn't click at all. When it used to click fast, I could take the motor off and clean it out and it worked fine, but now I'm stuck. I don't know if it's the switch, motor, solenoid or what? Just asking to see if any of you have had this problem. I just tried the tap the motor test with no avail. Thanks

You have a buddy with a 4wd Ranger? Try swapping switches. And thanks for searching.

I hope so. I think that he's going to sell me the truck when the motor goes(it's on it's last legs now) so I'll have it for parts, and that'll be my fun project truck. Hopefully I can get this to work again soon, snow will be coming sooner than I'd like it to.

So I'm pretty sure that I've located the problem. At school, we just hooked up a scan tool, and it gave me codes P1867 and P1891. Both of which source is the 4wd Control Module. Hopefully that doesn't cost too much.

i just purchased that module (GEM) about 3 weeks ago used but it was only about $75. you'll have to get it programmed to your truck though. as far as i know FORD has to do it. $$$$$$ not sure how much though. i looked up how much it was for a new one from Ford and it was over $300.
