5r44e question

CRAP I meant 5r44e

Was there any change from 01-08? I didn't find any just thought I would check, thanks guys.

Bump, another question. 5r44e/5r55e, I found a post on Expo Forums that said that the difference is the 5r55e is built to handle 550 ft/lbs of torque and the 5r44e is built to 440 ft/lbs of torque. True/false?

Also I keep on getting different answers to if the 3.0 came with a 5r55e behind it, in a 4x4 model. I don't want to drop a couple hundred bucks on a tranny that won't even work.
