is there a seperate code for the 4x4 ranger trans. Trying to either fin a reman or a 4x4 output shaft, tailshaft and a good and complete rebuild kit for my trans. HELP!!!!!!!!!

No. The different is 4wd or 2wd. The 4wd has a longer tail shaft than a 2wd. http://www.therangerstation.com/tech...AutoTrans.html

Does anyone know were i can acquire a new tail shaft, and output shaft, or is it easier to just get a new trans

i have an extra output housing......65 shipped

or i have a 4x4 tranny for 250 plus shipping (needs a rebuild)

what all is involved in rebuild, cost, parts, so on and so forth.
