Squeaking From Driveshaft?

Squeaking From Driveshaft?

have a problem just started yesterday sounds like theres a squeaking from the rear driveshaft of my truck it only happens when its in 1st and 2nd and when my foots off the gas and if my foot isnt on the clutch lol if i hit the clutch it goes away and if i hit the gas it dose it for a sec and stops not sure what it is its new to me lol anyone have any idea what it could be >? thanks

Easy way to check your U-joints.
crawl under your truck, wiggle the drive shaft directly up and down. there should be very little play if your U-joints are ok.

There should be no play at all.

If there is any play, no matter how small or minuscule, then it is time for new ones.

by play, i mean. it gives barely a 1/16th of a inch when you push real hard. but thats in mine from the carrier bearing.
