So I bought a 89 ranger off my buddy and he put a new clutch and tranny in it, but the idiot didn't bolt the shifter down and I didnt know that. So the other day I was sitting in it throwing through the gears and the shifter came up out of the tranny and I can seem to get it back in. Is there anyway to get the shifter back in without taking the whole tranny out? Any help is appriated.
