Which rear end 4x4

Please make a signature to help us out with questions like this. Plus, I would just leave the stock gears in there, there's no reason to swap to different gears if you have stock tires and don't off-road.

to get best mpg. a 3.55 would be best.. most likely you have a 3.73 or 4.10 already.. but i am with Brenton no need to go changing it. if you wanted MPG you bought the wrong vehicle a pruis would have been a better choice

Hybrids are good for city mileage not highway. Their best economy comes at 25-30 mph.

Look into a VW TDI. 50 mpg is not uncommon with them on the highway.

Any gear change will not be worth the hassle. You will make your speedo off so you wont even know if your getting better economy. Maybe a mileage tune chip is what you want.

but i'm with everyone else, if everything is stock and you dont off road your truck there's not much reason so change it.

I would leave them alone. If you are set on changing them I would go with 4.10's.
