7.5 to an 8.8

the mazda currently has the 7.5 3.73 gears open, and i found a person on here selling an 8.8 3.55 open, with half the miles as my rear end for 50 bux. I was wondering, how is 3.55 gunna react to 33 inch tires, with a 3.0, will it hurt anything, and how hard is it to find/install a set of 4.10 ( hense the reason y i am buying the 8.8)??? Also for install, what is gunna be needed to put it on, just unbolt the driveshaft, and ubolts and shocks and brake lines, then slide new axle and reverse said steps?

You don't want it because of the 3.55's. You should be looking for a 4.10 axle.

Swapping the gears in the axle is gonna be $$ and if you're gonna do that, you might as well throw in 4.30's.

It's a direct swap. unbolt old, bolt in new, done. You'll also be bumping up your drum size too.

15's are fine...

Yes you can take 4.10 8.8 gears out of an axle, but you're still gonna be out the cost of set-up and then some. Doesn't make wallet sense to do that just for 4.10's when you can either a: find a 4.10 equipped axle or b: swap in the perfect gear ratio.
