8.8 Question

Thanks. I don't want to lift the rear of the truck any more than it already is (it sits perfect right now), but I do want the extra leafs in the Explorer spring pack.

Expo springs are 2" taller, so the factory block can go.
As for the axle it's been covered in the prior posts. However, the brakes as long as there is no groves and the pads are in good shape are probly fine. I have done 3 and all 3 have not needed anything but a fluid flush. Basically bleed til you get clear fluid.
As far as the fabrication, I would buy new perches. They should be cheap enough to streamline the install. Just match the pinion angle to your tcase angle (mesured on the flanges, should be somthing like 6*) and keep it square. Also remember when welding on the axle keep the heat low, it can warp the tubes and then you have scap metal.
The cobra packs for the trac lok are sweet!!! My buddy just did his and it is mega positive! The regular pack was 80 somthin and the carbon packs were about 100, worth the price!

Do you go to Tech? I go to LSU, but I'm in Monroe for the time being until I get my finances and a few other things straightened out. Sadly, I won't be going to the concert. For starters, I don't want to go alone, and secondly, I don't really feel like driving to Ruston.
