90 2.3 4×2 manual transmission replacement
So I have the old transmission out with the new one up underneath the truck right now and it seems like my exhaust is in the way of me being able to get the transmission mounted back to the motor, does anyone know if it is a must or at least a good idea to remove the exhaust to get the trans back in....
Also I have heard from a couple people something about having to push the clutch to get the throw out bearing back in place to get the trans in or something of that nature so if anyone knows anything about that or if I have to do anything with the clutch at all to get this trans in please share your knowledge.
Thank You!

Well I just got done and didn't see your reply until after but I did move the exhaust and get the transmission mounted and secured. I did not bleed the clutch I guess I will do some research and find out if that is something I need to do but like I said did get the trans, cross member, and starter back on.
SO now I have to get the high pressure line and reverse switch in. It looks like it's a different reverse switch then the one that was on my old trans...is it possible to change these two switches out??

You bleed the clutch system after trans is installed and Clutch line from Master is connected.
You OPEN the bleeder valve when installing the transmission so slave doesn't hold pressure and keep you from pushing transmission onto the engine all the way, not a big deal, just a common practice.
Reverse light switch unscrews, it is just a plunger style switch so can be swapped out with the old one that has the correct electrical connection.
