Just replaced the throw out bearing/slave cylinder in my 96. Put trans back in and bolted everything back up, now my truck wont turnover?! When I turn the key the starter clicks like it would if the battery were dead but the batt's not dead. So? Guys, help me out. Thanx.

 

What ended up working for you? Same issue with a 97 4 cal/ 5 spd. Battery good, new starter solenoid, and new starter. I get the click with no starter movement. After that there's electrical power at all. I can reset it by R2 the (-) battery cable and then the same thing with the click.

 

Seeing he has only ever made 1 post and that was 9 years ago, we will never know.

 

Wow... talkin bout a resurrection... Honestly, that truck was totaled out over 4 years ago, drivin a Discovery Series 2 now. Don't remember what finally got it running. Good luck with your search though.
