98 tranny rebuild need help

OK first off i haven't started yet but i have a 98 ranger 4x4 3.0 with a 5 speed manual tranny, its getting hard to shift, pops out of 3rd at random, leaks front and rear needs a new clutch and has about 220000 on it with one fluid change. I got a new clutch kit for it, and im looking for a tranny rebuild kit and some kind of a guide to help me along. if any one could shed some light on my situation it would be awesome.
Also a few years ago it was in 4x4 and i had a small spare tire on the front and there was some bad clunk noise coming from that side and 4x4 hasn't worked sense, what should i look at for fixing that. a SAS is in planning for the future but need the 4x4 till then.
