What is this/

truck; 99 ranger 4x4, auto locking hubs, 4.0 engine, extended cab.

The photo is of a cv joint on my front drive shaft. Can this be replaced seperatly or only as part of the front drive shaft? If it is as part of the entire shaft, can I drop the drive shaft and continue to use truck until i can get a replacement? Forgot to mention that the is allways engaged.

You may be able to fix it, but I doubt it... you're likely better off to just go to the junk yard and grab a different one!
