Any direct replacement axles for Level II 31-spline rear?

I found some made by Moser, but I'm not sure that they will work.

Here are the specs:

Part #: A31-93RANG (1-Pair)
Mfg: Ford
Model: Ranger
Year: 1993, 1994, 1995, 1996, 1997
Rear End: 7.5" & 8.8”
Spline Count: 31
Length: 27 1/4" & 30 1/8"
Bolt Pattern: 5 X 4 1/2” (.625” Knurl press-in)

Will these work?

Why do you need one? If I can ask? Did you break one?

I am getting a Level II 31-spline rear. And, I will probably replace the axles with something better if I can find a replacement. Then I'll just keep the stock axles as spares.

Moser can make any length you want, just give them a call.

Your not going to break an axle on 33's. I would spend your cash elsewhere. Keep in mind the f150 ran this rear end for a while. Its plenty strong for wheeling and abuse. If you plan on stepping up to 37's then spares will be a good idea.

Sounds like a good idea while the rear axle is in the build stages.
Post the info you come up with.
Moser is one of the better axle shaft makers in the US.
Supposedly US Steel also.

Ditto. Just call Moser up and tell them what you want, and they'll make'em for you. I know 9" axles were about $300 a pair 8 years ago.
