99 Rear end into and 92

What would have to be done to swap a 8.8 out of a 99 into a 92 with a 7.5? I wasnt sure how compatibility threw the years were, and couldnt come up with anything searching..

it will fit, but iirc, it should be 1.5" wider overall.

pretty sure it should be. i think the 1st gens had a different flange on the driveshaft, but i think the one you have should be the same thing. i would look everything over first to make sure.

Haha, trying, i cant really work on it right now with my neck. But my moms boyfriend is supposed to be looking at it... Once i can work on it though yeah, i need somthing to drive.
