Automatic Wheel Hubs

The automatic hubs went out on my 3rd gen ranger a while back and now i don't have 4x4 anymore. Does anyone know if there are any kind of rebuild kits for them or do i just have to replace them. and if i have to should i stick with the stock automatic hubs or should i switch over to manual locking ones, and what kind of manual lockers?
