axle retaining clips???

i looked under the front of my truck today and noticed my right cv axle was pushed out about 1/2 inch and leaking fluid. i took it all apart and the cv axle looks to be ok and everything went back together perfect, no gaps. i tightened the axle nut and what do you know the 1/2 inch gap is back. i think its the little half moon clips that hold the inner axle in but i have no clue where to find them or even if you can get them. i think my locker is wearing on it. any thoughts on where to get them or even the correct name????? i have a feeling if i dont fix that soon ill be needing a whole new axle.

You'll probably have to get it from the dealership, if they have any left. They aren't in production anymore, as I have tried to order them on several occassions and have been told by the dealership that the item is no longer carried. My advice, go to a junk yard, look for an explorer or a ranger w/ SLA IFS and harvest the parts from the front axle.
