Just how good is this t-case, I've always had manuals and don't have much experience with electrical. My main concern is reliability when on the trail.

THe case itself is ok but the electric shift system likes to fail. Most of the time it's the shift motor but my truck blew the 4wd computer and switch once. I was lucky and it got stuck in 2wd so I could still drive to work but I still needed to go through two river crossings to get out of the 4wd area. There is a manual shift 1354 but you have to get a different extension housing for the transmission.

My 93 ranger has the electronic 4x4 system in it and i hate it.. Mine is very unreliable.. Ive had to replace the 4x4 button 2 times and Ive had to put another transfer case shift motor in it..
