Need a heavy duty clutch

I been looking around for a new heavy duty clutch
for my 1992 ford ranger 3.0. The first thing I did was I went to
Autozone and then said then dont have a heavy duty clutch
for my truck so.. I look on the internet for one and find that
bully dont have one or zoom. So im lost now an if anyone can point me in the
right direction I really be happy.

Thanks for any feedback.

stage2 feels alot like factory...but there's alot less slippage i notice. I daily drive it 75miles a day.....feels good. Now....I feel like there's a slight increase in pedal pressure which is VERY good imo...i like a firm pedal.

I wouldnt know....they don't have a spec stage 2+ avaliable for my truck. I believe it's an upgraded pressure plate? or just an upgraded disc? i really don't know. There's a comparison on Spec's website between the different stages of clutches.

I think i forked around $350 for mine. Waited darn near a month for it to get here. lol.

Is you're 3.0L built to have more power than the factory clutch can handle? unless youre pushing 300 ft-lbs of torque a factory clutch has more than enough holding force for a 3.0L. The LUK clutches are very nice clutches, they hold very well and they run very comfortably on the street and off road. They are also very forgiving to being slipped and burnt and have a good rebound from mild abuse.

was it installed correctly? I couldnt picture the 3.0L having enough torque that low in the RPMs to slip a properly installed new clutch. Maybe if you reved it to 4000 and dropped the clutch...
