B&M Shift Kits...

Is andbody using this? My friend just got his installed on his Blazer ZR2 and he says he can chirp his tires going into 2nd gear. I was reading about it on B&M's website and it actually is good for the transmission to shift harder into the gears. Just wondering if anybody would recommend this to anybody else.

I've got a B&M stage 3 in my chevy. Does quite well and the shifts are neck snapping hard and I love it. I've havn't had any experience with them in electronically controls trans though, I know beard has one in his truck and he likes it. But it's also coupled with a higher stall converter I do believe.

I don't have one but maybe might install one if I get bored. Yeah, they are better for the trans, less slip.

The shifts are firmed up to provide less slipping of the internal clutches, and the quicker shifts are also to provide less slipping. Really...Any automatic trans would benefit from this and I wouldn't own an auto without one.

I almost bought a '01 Crown Vic P71....had a shift kit where the 1-2 shift was really hard, and the 2-3 and 3-4 shift was stock...pretty neat.
