Received my James Duff Traction Bars - Installation Saturday

I finally got my traction bars. Now it is time to get them installed this Saturday. I'm also going to get some strong wire and further secure my efan to the radiator for added security. Should make for a fun day of modding. :)

the hardest part of installing the traction bars is probably drilling the 3 small holes in the front hanger, other wise is a very easy install and you will notice a difference!

Just use the right strength drill, good bit and the drilling should be a breeze.

Use vise grips or clamps to hold on the bracket so you know where to drill.

Good luck! Have fun!

I was looking over the instructions...the hardest part for me (I say this now) is making sure I have all the hardware installed correctly. I have titanium drill bits and will be charging up my drill tonight :)

i don't know what drill you have, but the wired ones worked for me better than the battery-powered ones. But i guess they make batter-powered drills really powerful now?

I really, really recommend the DeWalt Cobalt drill bits... they drill through heavy metal... never used Ti bits, tho.
