i have an 06 fx4 level II, and the torsen has been acting like an open diff for the last while, so i took it into the dealership for the warranty, they apparently just finished, and i want to make sure that they got the right diff to put back in, and didn't replace it with a trac loc... on torsen's website, it lists

Ford 8.8" Torsen® T-2 (28 & 31 Spline) Differential:
Torsen P/N 409200-0204G (31 Tooth)
Torsen P/N 409200-0204H (28 Tooth)

and

Ford 8.8" Torsen® T-2R (28 & 31 Spline) High Bias Differential:
Torsen P/N 975420-0200L (31 Tooth)
Torsen P/N 975420-0200M (28 Tooth)

for the 8.8's i was wondering if anyone happens to know which one they put in the level II's

i think it's 31 spline, as it has 10" rear drums

 

Its a 31 spline. To see if they put the Torsen in, open the diff and look. Its pretty unique looking.
