so today i pulled out my 1354m out of a truck and a couple weeks ago when i was looking at it pulled the shifter back to make sure it moved and it moved but it was really hard to move well today i got in and tried to move it back forward but it wont its stuck. how can i loosen up the little piece that sticks out the side of the tcase that the shift linkage bolts to so it will move easier i know its not the shifter its self because that moves just fine off the truck. so how can i loosen that with out separating the case and if i have to separate the case how hard its it im kinda afraid to get in over my head.

ya loosen up that giant bolt... it should help...

 

it was losse the bolt didnt do anything i tapped on the lever that goes right into the case and it didnt move

 

hmm... then there might be something wrong with you t-case...

 

i think its just from sitting in the junk yard and its just really tight

 

so i went out last night a wd40ed the crap out of it and tapped it back and forth a couple time and its a little better and i used a bar to move it anyone have any other ideas how to lossen it up
