You may have old / wrong fluid in the trans.
Does it seem hard to get into 1st ?

yeah i little its mostly just a little tough downshifting, but it does have origional fluid i would imagin, i only had the truck for a year and a half now, while were on the subject of trans fluid, do you think you can drain the auto trans fluid they used for lub and put gear lub in instead?

Are you sure its in the trans or is it in the driveline or rear end....have someone listen while you drive.

yeah its deffinatly coming from the trans. its just like a distinct metalic click when i put it in 2nd through 4th but goes into gear just fine and drives right and comes out of gear good as well
