Clutch problems

I have a 93 ford ranger. When I got the truck the guy said he put a new clutch set, flywheel, slave and master. I have had the truck 8 months about 3 months ago I would have to bleed the clutch every 3 days.no signs of leaking from any where. Checked slave cylinder, line, and master under the hood and where the pedal goes in on the inside of the truck. Any ideas on what could be the problem.

Welcome to the forum

1993 Ranger, manual transmission, what engine?

I assume you are bleeding the clutch system because you are losing travel in the slave, i.e. can't shift into 1st gear while stopped with engine running?

And after bleeding you have full travel and all is well for a few days?

Now when you bleed the slave are you getting AIR bubbles coming out?
So air IS getting into the system, and that air is the problem.

And clutch reservoir, above master, is still full, so no fluid loss?

1993 is around the time Ford changed the slave/master Quick connect fitting.

Older style have black fittings newer gold color, but they are not universal, 3rd party slave can fit but not tight.

I would pull apart Quick Connect, it self seals
Then push on clutch pedal, should not move much, hold some pressure on it to see if it might be leaking.
Release pressure then repeat a few times to see if pedal goes down a bit more each time.
Master piston could be leaking fluid inside, pushing some back up to reservoir which could cause air to be pulled in at slave end of quick connect

2.3l engine. The connectors are gold. Went out and pressed clutch Down had half a pedal travel before stopped. I released The pressure a few times and no change in pedal travel.

Master has air in it, pedal should barely go down if quick connect is released.

Master sits up at an angle so air can get trapped at the top, and it won't come out by bleeding at slave end

You can bleed master in place but tight space
There is a C-clip at the top of the master that holds piston in place
You can remove the C-clip and piston will come up enough to release the air, and fluid from reservoir will replace it and start to run out, so have a towel under it.
Then push piston back down and replace C-Clip

I have also read you can do this via the reservoir but never tried that
