I think a lot of people try to weld diffs that have NO idea wtf they are doing. That is how I got my 2002 fx4 so cheap he welded the diff and thought the tranny was gone as well as other things. I think they looked at it and saidif it moves weld it, the bigger the glob the better the job.

Yes this is a 31 spling torsen diff
