Clutch-no pressure at the pedal. Replaced slave. Nothing happened.
Started the truck up and went to take off in first, out of my driveway. Clutch grabbed pretty quick, lunged me out of the driveway. I didn't think much of it, since I haven't been driving the truck lately, and i though maybe I was forgetting how to handle a 5 speed.... About 3 quarters of the way to my girlfriend's house, clutch pedal had no pressure, no shifting allowed. Stopped at a local parts store, turned it off, put some fluid into the boot (Forgot there was a boot in the reservoir) started the truck back up, and she had pressure again. Got to the lady's house, shut it off, sat inside for a while, then took her out to dinner. Drove around town for a while, still had pressure. Let the truck rest over night...tried to go get an xmass tree for the holiday, no go..... Replaced the slave. Nothing. Bled the system until nothing but new fluid was coming out. Nothing. My ranger has been down for a week, and I can't think of anything to try. My father suggested a new pressure plate, my buddy says new master cylinder, I say I'm too broke and too depressed. heh. Any help, guys?
