Clutch Warranty

My warranty on my truck technically ends in about 2 weeks. Lately, I have been having some chatter when start moving from a dead stop. Not all the time, but most of the time. It reminds me of when I put a new clutch in my Eclipse and it chattered, so I pulled it back out and resurfaced the flywheel and all was good.

Anyways, I am bringing it up because I was wondering if that is considered natural wear and tear or if it was covered on warranty. My truck is a 2002 with only 26k miles. I wouldnt think the clutch or flywheel would need to be messed with yet. I also dont race it or shift hard cause its a 4 banger, so no need to get heavy on it.

Also, would lowering my truck void drivetrain warranty?

I had my clutch replaced at just 12,000 miles.. My issue was a squeal letting the clutch out under load (ie starting on a hill). Turned out there was a TSB for the clutch assembly. They replaced the clutch w/ a newer part, although they claimed the squeal was actually from the bearing in the slave cylinder.. The crappy part is the new part squeals on occasion too!

I needed a new pressure plate 16K miles, this is the first clutch I have ever owned which was my problem. They covered mine under warrenty. Get it looked at try it if your warrentee is ready to run out go for it see what they say.
