Cost of front diff pinion seal replacement?

I know plenty of people here have had to replace their front diff pinion and cover seals, and I was wondering if someone could give me a ball park estimate of the cost and where you had the work done. I would attempt this myself, but for one my apartment complex does not allow vehicle repairs, and also I just don't have a decent location to do the work. I just want to know roughly what I can expect to shell out for this job.

if you have a dana 35 front end they are about 10 bucks but if u go and replace it and dont fix the vent thats on the differention u will blow out another on and another one. the gears make pressure in the dif when they are moving so when the vent gets pluged it pushes the oil out the seal mine was leaking till i fixed the vest now it stoped leaking so check ur vent and fix that first its a little black hose thats it under there

I live in the Midwest and was told $190.00 for parts and labor. Taxes not included, at my local Ford dealership. Just make sure the vent isn't blocked before you take it into service.

I got it fixed, along with the fluid in both diffs changed, for about $210 or so last week. Everything is dry now, but I will replace the vent hose in the front when I get a chance. I already replaced the rear one since it pretty much just dried up and fell off. The front one isn't any better I'm sure.

Goodyear wanted $600.00 to replace my pinion seal. I said nope I'll do it myself for that kinda money.
