"D"

Well since I dont have a manual for my truck, I hope someone in here can help me out. I have a 5speed and on the stick I see like this:

1 3 D
l-l-l
2 4 R

What does the "D" stand for?

Should be 5th gear. Maybe its a worn out overdrive symbol.

It's a white O with a black D in the middle. It's a glorified 5th gear basically (Overdrive). It just brings your rpms down when on the highway. Absolutely no umph in that gear, just to maintain speed.
