06 ranger harsh shift

I have a 2006 ranger 2wd 2.3l auto it has a harsh shift when reaccelating after a red light turns to green when coming upon it or taking off after a stop sometimes .seems to be at 20-30 mph could this be the valve body gasket blown out or a solenoid?

i have the same in my standard, it could be completely irrelevant, but for me its just the free play in the drivelling switching from stoping power to acceleration causing a bit of a jerk throughout the truck. like i said, i could be way off from what your talking about.
