do I have an open or LS diff

Code on diff ear reads as follows 3.73 (gearing) 7.5 (axle size) and lastly 0F23 (I have no clue what this means) it appears most codes with an F in them are LS but I'm unsure. Went to TRS and looked up codes to no avail. Thanks

My axle tag read 3L7388. It was 3.73ls 8.8 diff. What the axle code on your driver door? If its a letter and a number it is likely a limited slip. If its just a number its an open diff

Yeah open. It did good in the sand though.

Could found this out on your own, get in the truck, start it, put it in drive, hold the brake, mash the gas. lol

If you want to gain some MPGs I got a 3.45 sitting on the side of my house, ready for ABS.
