L/S vs. TracLoc

L/S vs. TracLoc
Is there a difference between these two? I am looking in to buying a No-Slip and have come across open, limited slip, and tracloc carriers at the same site. is tracloc the torsion l/s or something? I have the 8.8 28 spline with 4.88s and the factory l/s that came with the '04 FX4s. I found a new no-slip for $435 that is made for a tracloc carrier, will it work for my application? here's the link:

If anyone knows of a cheaper place by all means let me know.

Yes, open carrier needs the open Carrier No Slip. The carriers themselves are different between LS and open. The open is actually a stronger carrier for the No Slip.

And a heads up too...
Kyle has the Fx4 level 1...meaning non-31 spline non-torsen. 4.88 ring gear WILL NOT work for a torsen differential found in the 31spline ranger axles on Fx4L2's.
Torsen is very compariable to a detroit true trac...being it's a helical gear driven unit...something i've seen on the trail acting exactly like a locker when one wheel isoff the ground.
