TRANSMISSION PROBLEM AFTER SAS!

I finished my SAS on my 2000 ford ranger with a 3.0 and an automatic. After driving it a couple times reverse went out. I thought it was odd then a few weeks later I began to spill all the fluid from the top of the housing. I have talked to a few buddies and they say it could be caused by the stance. And the front being 6 inches taller than the rear.

Does anyone have any thoughts on this theory?

I can't really see how the stance would effect things but I honestly don't know a thing about transmissions. You wouldn't leak fluid if you were to park on a steep hill if everything was working proper. How much fluid are you loosing?

Its a constant drip but it makes a puddle pretty quick. And it just now began to make a raddling sound. ( I do not drive it anymore just around the property trying to figure out exactly were it spills from.) I was thinking that since the truck is tilted it would starve the gears and all the internals of fluid causing it to fail. I don't know much about transmissions so I would really like more info of how possible this is. And It wouldn't spill on a hill in park but if you ran it hours in drive I think it would start to effect it.

well id get it level first. if you already lost reverse, your looking at dropping the trans regardless. better just drop it off at a trans shop.

Stance wouldn't do that. You have a front driveshaft yet? Did you regear? You may need a new trans.

I already had the same tire size they were just really near the fenders. Lol. I have 4.10's right now and it does 100mph on the highway just fine. They are 32 inch km2's. Yeah its just hard to put out the 3 grand the local shops want to rebuild it. And I went to a couple yards today and after looking at 200 plus ranger no exageration I did not find a single used tranny that I could use to replace mine.

I just fabbed up a square tube shaft but I haven't put it in yet the transcrossmember is in the way. And I need to instal my new detroit locker first and hydro assist. If its not the stance what could it be. I know it has to be replaced now anyone in the bay area recommend a shop or person who rebuilds transmissions for a fair price?
