Explorer Axle Swap (i searched)

So in my 88 i am going to re-flip the hangers, add the rear leaf back and use an explorer axle. so heres my question. Can i use the bottom u-bolt brackets with the stock explorer shock locations? or will i need to have shock tabs welded on?

i am using the stock lower plates on my 95. i moved one side behind the axle just like the ex. if you want to keep the upper mounts stock, you will need two of one side.

excellent thank you. did you use the stock explorer brake lines for both sides or did you use two passenger side lines?

all the lines on the axle are the explorer. the rubber line coming off the chassis is the stock ranger line. they should mate up with no problems.
