Found these in my tranny pan

I just changed my trans filter and found these little guys in the pan. Can anybody tell me what they are/were for. I have a bad feeling it's not good.

And for the smartasses who are going to ask, no, the nickel was not in there, it's for size reference

they are spacers from the stock pan gasket. they usually stick to the pan flang after you pull the old gasket off. just make sure you get them all out and youre fine. the stock gaskets has those molded into the gasket material so you dont over torque the pan bolts. nothing to worry about. oh yeah and make sure theyre arent any stuck to the transmission where the pan gasket touches

That's what I wanted to hear, thanks. It just made me a little nervous to find something in there. I cleaned everything up real good before I put it back on so everything should be OK.
