4.10's

Ok guys heres the thing, i want to get 4.10s soon and i have no clue how much this is going to cost me. The 4.10s should bring back the pep to my truck since i have bigger tires now, right ? So how much is it going to cost me and is it really worth it? Thanks.

100-150$ i think, dunno how much with install unless you do it yourself...

its probably worth it, it will save your transmission alot of wear

A used set will run anywhere between $35-$100 and new ones are in the $150 price range. Then there's the bearing kit with shims for another $80 or so. Install could range anywhere from $200-$400. Hope that gives ya a rough idea, it's a lot cheaper if you are friends with a good mechanic..

or just go find an axle in a junkyard with 4.10s and limited slip, then swap it in. I think most people get them for ~$200

Just bought a set of 4.10's for my ranger. Total cost with tax and all was $248.88 for ring, pinion and master install kit. Installation was $260.00 but I am gonna do it myself. That was from 4wheelparts in Chula Vista cali
