Front diff leak

I have a 2004 with 4.10s and 66,0 miles and i found out today my front diff is leaking somewheres...

The other day i noticed something that looked oily around my vent tube for the front diff well i didnt think anything of it... well then today while removing my valiance i noticed the bottom of the diff was wet... It dosent drive weird 4wd works fine no strange noises while driving.

well does anyone know if there are any known problems with seals leaking on these front diffs Im kinda thinking pinion seal but im reluctant to say for sure i would really hate to have to pull the front end apart to fix this leak

Could be a number of things. The best thing to do is get under the truck and take a look.

I would just lie down and scoot under it. You won't know for sure until you do.

Here's a how-to for the rear pinion seal. It's the exact same for the front:
