Front diff leaking

My front diff is leaking.

How would I fix it and where is there a filler so I can add fluid?

Thanks,

Jake

Where is the leak coming from? Pinion seal, vent tube, cover?

The fill plug is on the driver side of the diff housing.

If i remember right the fill plug is like..a 1/2 inch drive. literally a half inch square, or 3/8 inch square??

Anyways, I just topped off my fluid again. It leaks so slowly I don't give a ****. I also cleaned off my diff cover(when installing superlift) and torqued down the bolts a little extra.

Looks like the bottom. I think I will do what Aaron suggests. Just top it off and let it leak, lol.

How hard is it and what is involved in replacing the pinion seal?

I am pretty sure thats what is leaking.

its a cake walk. I replaced mine in 45 min.

you have to take off the front drive shaft, remove the bolt and take off the piece where the d/s connects to. Then get a pinion seal puller to remove and replace the seal.
