Front differential drain plug

Has anybody installed a drain in their factory front differential? If so ...

*How difficult was it?
*Where did you put it?
*Pics would be great, as well as any tips

I would do this if I had a drill press. I'm too scared of screwing up my diff with a hand drill. I wonder how much a machine shop would overcharge me to do it.
