Welded Rear Axle ?

Welded Rear Axle ?

So, I got a lil 1994, 2.3l, 2wd , That i got a few years ago for a bush truck , and i was wondering if it is possible to weld the rear axle solid , I know its gonna make steering a **tch , but one tire fire while trying to haul brush is a **tch, Am i able to weld the rear axle solid, if so what and where do i make the welds , and is this a good idear or bad ?

good chance if it's outta a 2wd 4 banger it's gonna be a 7.5. if it is, it's not worth anything in a bush truck. they are weak and will break if pushed hard.

alrighty , thanks , it was just an idea, the studs are seized on the rims so i cant put a better set of tires on it , and i was gonna bring it to a farm to haul some more brush , its got bald *** tires on it and gets stuck on wet grass , so it was just a quick idea
