No Clutch

So I got in the truck this morning to head to school, push in the clutch, and it feels like I'm compressing air, not pushing on fluid. It would not go into gear when running. The truck drove fine yesterday but it has been a little picky about going into gear which seems to be a sign of the slave cylinder on the way out.

I checked the reservoir and the fluid level was fine.

What do you guys think?

Thanks in advance

Probably. Try bleeding it. How many miles on your truck? It may be time for a master cylinder along with the slave.

John I'll be home around 8 or 9 tonight if you want me to head over and take a look at it with you...

Lets try bleeding it... Go get a deep socket 8mm socket (1/4" drive) and some dot 3 brake fluid for the clutch and prepare to get a lil brake fluid-y lol

Text me if you get it fixed before I'm off

The whole thing. Master, slave, clutch with a spec stg. 2, TO bearing, PP, installl. I think he paid $1,200... He had it done because it's getting close to finals and he nor I have the time to fix it here in town. We were gonna do it though.

Wow. Last time I paid $600 for parts and labor. I bought from clutch city online and had my Dad's mechanic install everything.

We woulda saved him about $600 doin it ourselves and buying parts locally, but he didn't have the time and I'm at school for 12hrs a day. So this was the best option for him.

JOHN GET ONLINE MEOW! lol
