locker

if i have a 98 xlt off road do i have a limited slip in the rear? and what tools would be required to install an aussie locker in the front if i was to get one.

You don't need anything more than simple hand tools to install the aussie locker, although air tools make the job much easier. The hardest part is pulling the front axle out of the truck. You'll need feeler gauges to measure the tolerances for warranty purposes but they are not a necessity for installation.

hmm i dont see 2002 xlt 4x4 on it? or i'm reading it wrong

you have to look on it by your axle code, not year or model...
