Good deal on a dana 44

So i've found a dana 44 out of a 79 f250 reverse cut for 100 bucks, only problem is this is the axle with the cast on wedges and i was planning on running leafs.

So my question is would it be worth buying the axle then replacing the tubes or is it better to just search for another axle?
Also how much would it cost?
And how hard would it be?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

getting new tubes is doable, getting them in would be a pain and cost more in the long run. better off reselling it or using the factory set up
