Hard pedal .

Hy guys, I'm new to the forum. I did an engine swap ony Ford ranger (5.0 engine and trans) and im working on making it hydrolic. I installed a CNC master and a slave from a 240z "somebody told me that will work" . My pedal is really hard it feels like pumping the brakes with the vacuum disconnected from the booster. Do you guys have any ideas or what route to take ? Thanks ....

Welcome to the forum

I am guessing you removed the vacuum assist power brake booster and installed a hydraulic assist unit in its place.

So what are you using to power the hydraulic assist unit, power steering pump, electric pump??

You can't just remove the vacuum power booster and use just a master, you have to change the leverage point on brake pedal as it is setup for "assist" and will be very hard to use without it.
