Icon5 Has any one tryed this V8 conversion ????????
I have a 1996 ranger with the 4cyl. auto w/od and I came across a 1997 mercury mountaineer 2 wheel drive auto w/od and a V8. The question is will the wiring harness plug and play.If any one has tried this I would love to here from you. Any help would be appreciated thank you.

Search. It's been done many times, and there's even another thread going on right now about it.

So again I say, search.

No, no way near plug and play, use the mountaineer motor, with the mustang efi harness and electronics
