Need Help With Transmission Install

I dropped my transmission from my truck and left the torque converter installed to the flex plate . Im trying to install the transmission back to the engine block but its very difficult trying to line the splines to the torque converter.

Id like to take off the torque converter off from the flex plate but it won't rotate on the engine block. should i be turning the engine over by hand to reach all 4 bolts on converter? how do I go about this?

You have to take the torque converter off of the flex plate because you have to turn the torque converter into the transmission it usually take 3 clicks to seat them

No you have to take the torque converter off of the flex plate, because you can't get the torque converter seated properly with the converter still on the engine.
