HELP WITH ? ABOUT AUTO TRANS HESITATING IN LOW GEAR

Having trouble with my 1999 4x4 Ranger Trans.hesitating in low gear.When I put it into drive it will hesitate before it will start moving.Will someone please give me some advice?

Sounds obvious, but have you checked the fluid level and condition?
