Help with clutch disconnect.

Am pulling a 3.0 on a 99 2wd 5 speed. I want to pull the engine and tranny together. How do I disconnect the clutch fluid line from either the tranny or the pedal assembly? Any help and even diagrams would help. I do not have a repair manual. Thanks.

disconect it from the trans. they make a tool to disconect the line but if your look on the line their is a white plastic collor on the brass fiting you got to slide that in towards the trans. it presses in on the little teath in there and reclease the line. ive always used a little flat head screw driver and just been carefull and always got it out with out brakeing any thing

Is it the collar that is sticking out of the trans visibly, or do I need to remove the inspection plug to see it?
