hey do you guys know that a 98 manual tranny fits on a 96 motor or are they different ? thanks jacob

which motor?

if they are the same engine, then they will fit....

well ive got an 94 ranger with an 96 motor now and my tranny is shot so i found one here in a junk yard for 500 bucks but its eighter from an 98 or 99 and they are both for 4x4 and 4 liter so i wonder if that bolt up the same and the transver case

yes the tranny will bolt up......all the 4.0's have the same bolt pattern....

thanks alot i picked it up yesterday and put it in last nigth and it fits well but theres only one sensor missing on the top idk yet which one it is it might be the one for reverse light but i have to find that out yet today sometime
