How to check front diff oil?
 

Hello there, i'm just doing routine maintinence, and i'm trying to find where the fill plug is on the front gearbox of my 04 B4000? It just amazes me how this truck was designed because some things are hard to find.

1998 and up 4WD Rangers had the Dana 35 SLA(Short arm Long Arm) as the front axle

Fill plug is on the Drivers Side of differential case: Ford Ranger 4×4 Front Axle: 1998-2011 : The Ranger Station

You can see it in a picture above and it is #14 in the exploded diagram

And I thought all you had to do it remove the lower case bolt !

The rear the front, I thought were the same.
